These disciplines shape our understanding of information, media and society. I navigated the complexities of modern media by creating credibility with school administration, peers and the general public.
As the Kapaun Paladin magazine Editor-in-Chief, I recognized the staff needed to be on the same page, understanding each role and how to represent the school and publication when reporting and writing. There was no style guide, so I created one.
Press passes were not used by staff in the past. I designed passes for each member to wear at various school events. Passes gain staff access to important events. Additionally, it validated them when it was important to cover an event while peers may have been attending at leisure.
